East Peckham Russett Players are preparing to stage "Neighbourhood Watch" this weekend

An amateur dramatic society is preparing to stage its fourth show since forming in East Peckham this weekend.

The East Peckham Russet Players have only been performing together since 2012, but founder, Marilyn Apps, was given a Community Enhancement Award by the parish council in spring last year for the group's work.

The players were given a shield after boosting amateur dramatics in the area.

They will now perform a new production, 'Neighbourhood Watch', a dramatic comedy by playwright Alan Ayckbourn this weekend.
