Tonbridge: George Forbes of Medina Road, Cosham, charged over assault in Kebab Express in Quarry Road

Police have charged a man with assault after violence erupted at a Tonbridge takeaway. 

Officers were called to Kebab Express in Quarry Road on Saturday, August 20 after a man suffered cuts and bruises to his face and also lost a tooth.

Detectives issued an appeal for information and in September, George Forbes, aged 46, was arrested.

Forbes, of Medina Road, Cosham, Portsmouth, has now been charged with assault occasioning actual bodily harm. 

He will appear before Sevenoaks Magistrates' Court on Tuesday December 13.
