A man was treated for burns after two sheds at a garden in Tonbridge caught light.
Crews were called to Shipbourne Road at just after 2am today as the flames threatened to spread to adjoining buildings.
Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus tackled the blaze using a high-pressure hose reel jet to stop it spreading.
They then checked the area with a thermal imaging camera for any remaining hot spots.
A man suffering burns was treated by paramedics and was taken to hospital for further treatment.
The cause of the fire is not yet known.
