Spitfire Pub in Kings Hill set to welcome 11 acts for Kings Hill Music Festival on Saturday July 12

A popular music festival showcasing up and coming local talent is returning to town this weekend.

The Spitfire Pub, in Kings Hill, is set to welcome 11 acts to its stages for the sixth year of the Kings Hill Music Festival on Saturday July 12.

The venue, on Liberty Square, will be fitted with two stages in the garden and a host of local bands and artists, including Kings Hill's very own singer, 18-year-old Lana Pitcher will be performing.

Lana was named Italia Conti voice of the year 2013 and has also starred in the West end show Les Miserables.

She will be accompanied by Sevenoaks Singer and vocal coach Sally Higham's son, Jack Higham.

Up and coming Kent based bands who have all released albumbs this year will be performing including, Born to Nothing and Freedom Cage. A range of tribute acts will also be in the line-up for the day.

Doors open at 12.30pm, with music starting at 1pm.

Tickets will be £10 on the door and kids enter free.
