Police seize 'cocaine cannabis and more than £2,000' in Tonbridge raids

A morning raid in Tonbridge has turned up drugs, a stun gun and thousands of pounds in cash.

Officers targetting suspected drug dealers stormed a home in Hamble Road at 6.30am on Monday.

There they discovered £2,074 in cash along with what is thought to be cocaine and cannabis.

Ronnie Tayler, 21, was arrested and later charged with drug supply offences and possession of criminal property, relating to the cash.

Tayler pleaded pleaded guilty to all three offences and has been remanded in custody.

He will appear at Maidstone Crown Court at a later date, which is yet to be confirmed.

A simultaneous raid at the Trenchwood estate on Monday led police to seize a stun gun and several mobile phones.

Officers arrested a 24-year-old man on suspicion of possession of cannabis with intent to supply who was later bailed to return to the police station on July.
