Police are searching for a biker who left the scene of a crash.

A car and motorcycle collided in The Fairway in Gravesend, off Wrotham Road, just before 7pm last night.

Emergency services including police and ambulance crews were called, but the motorcyclist could not be found.

A police spokesman said: "Kent Police was called 6.53pm on 8 October to reports of a collision between a car and a motorcycle in The Fairway, Gravesend.

"Officers and Secamb attended the scene where the occupant of the car was seen by ambulance staff.

"The rider of the motorcycle was not found at the scene and enquiries are ongoing to locate them."

Officers shut a small section of the road, causing minor delays.
