Trains to Dover and Ramsgate via Tonbridge diverted following signalling problems

Commuters travelling from the capital towards the Kent coast faced disruption this afternoon after more problems on the rails.

Southeastern warned that trains from Charing Cross to Dover and Ramsgate via Tonbridge may be diverted via Swanley to Sevenoaks, following signalling problems at Petts Wood.

It came after passengers experienced further disruption this morning, following an incident at East Malling railway station.
