Early morning blaze in Tonbridge shed

A fire in a shed that was being used as a DIY forge was extinguished by firefighters early this morning.

Kent Fire and Rescue were called to the scene in Avebury Road, near the junction with Barden Road, Tonbridge, at 35 minutes past midnight.

It is thought that sparks from earlier use had caused a slow smouldering which burst into flames several hours later.
