Kent Fire and Rescue Service give staff member first aid at takeaway in Tonbridge

A member of staff at a takeaway has been injured after a small fire broke out.

Firefighters were called at 2.26pm to The Mandarin Chinese Takeaway restaurant in Martin Hardie Way, Tonbridge.

Two crews went to the scene but the fire had been put out by the time they arrived.

They gave first aid to the casualty until an ambulance arrived.

Firefighters used a thermal imaging camera to make sure the blaze was completely out and had not spread.
