Purses snatched from pensioners in Choice Discount store in Tonbridge

Police have released CCTV images of two women after pensioners had their purses snatched in Tonbridge.

A shopper, aged in her 70s, was in High Street store Choice Discount on January 16, when she realised her purse was missing from a bag she had been carrying.

The victim recalled being jostled as she was looking to buy a pair of shoes.

A second woman aged in her 60s, who had also been shopping in the town, also reported her purse stolen, which was later recovered by officers inside the same shop.

The suspects are both described as being white and with blonde highlighted hair. One of them is around 5ft 4ins tall and of slim build.

She was wearing blue jeans and a blue bomber jacket with a fur hood. The second woman wore a green duffel coat, also with fur around the hood.
