Tonbridge Swimming Pool on Castle Street set to reopen fitness pool on Monday, January 2

A popular public swimming pool will reopen in the new year following repairs.

Tonbridge Swimming Pool was closed on Monday, October 17 so that construction work could be carried out on the roof.

The 25m fitness pool has been closed to the public ever since, but the teaching pool, toddler pool, cafe and spa have remained open.

A spokesman for the trust said: "Works should be completed no later than Monday, January 2. We will strive to open between Christmas and New Year."

Swim School lessons in the teaching pool at Castle Street will finish on Sunday, with lessons in the teaching and fitness pools restarting on January 2.
