Tonbridge boss Steve McKimm knows his team will be unfancied this weekend but is backing them to spring a surprise.

Conference South promotion chasers Bromley are the visitors to Longmead on Saturday in the third qualifying round of the FA Trophy.

“We will be the underdogs even though we are playing at home,” said McKimm.

“But we’ve done our homework on them and had them watched. We know what to do and we’ve spotted a few weaknesses, although there are not many.

“Bromley fans will be expecting their team to beat us but hopefully we can upset a few of them.

“The squad hasn’t let me down too often when it comes to desire and work-rate and if we can add that bit of quality, which we have, we can open up any team.”
