An air ambulance landed in the grounds of a Tunbridge Wells school as crews attended a nearby incident.

The helicopter landed at Temple Grove Academy at around 12pm before paramedics rushed to Sherwood Road, where police are also in attendance.

The Kent, Surrey and Sussex Air Ambulance confirmed they were called at around 11am.

A school spokesman said the incident was nothing to do with them and that they only needed a place to land.

He added that crews had left the school by 12.45pm.

Kent Police has been contacted for comment.
