Appeal after attack on woman nightclubber

DETECTIVES investigating an assault on a woman after she left a Kent nightclub are appealing for information.

It is thought the man may earlier have been in the nightclub in Tunbridge Wells at the same time as the victim.

The woman left the night spot on the high street at about 12.30am on Sunday, February 25, and walked towards the Bedford public house.

As she neared an alleyway at the side of the pub she was approached by the man who grabbed at her. The woman was not injured but suffered scratches on her face.

The attacker is described as white, aged 20-26, 5ft 10ins tall and of broad build. He had short, brown hair and was wearing a long sleeved white shirt with a blue pinstripe.

Anyone with information is asked to contact police on 01732 379217 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
