Motorcyclist fights for life after van crash in Eridge Road, Tunbridge Wells

A motorcyclist is fighting for his life after a crash involving a van in Tunbridge Wells.

The black Aprilia motorbike and silver Volkswagen Caddy van collided on the A26 Eridge Road near the junction with Broadwater Down at 2.50pm yesterday.

The rider suffered serious injuries and was flown to a London hospital by air ambulance, where he remains in a critical but stable condition.

Officers from the serious collision investigation unit are now asking for witnesses to come forward.
