Fire crews were called to a kitchen fire last night.

Smoke was seen coming from a two-storey property in Tunbridge Wells shortly before 7pm.

Two engines were sent to the blaze in Cambridge Street.

Firefighters battled the flames using breathing apparatus and hose reel jets.

They remained on scene to clear smoke from the property.

There were no reported injuries, and the cause is not yet known.
