The directors of a Kent company have teamed up and taken part in a joint, unlimited ice bucket challenge in a bid to raise funds for Motor Neuron Disease.

The team at CTT Group Ltd, a travel company based in Tunbridge Wells, announced that their managing director Mark Kempster, technical director Thomas Kempster and financial director David Bevan would all be taking part in the challenge.

The brave participants all agreed to an unlimited number of buckets being poured over them, with a £3 donation per bucket.

The event was organised and championed by client support executive, Hollie Askew. She said: "I myself played very little part in the success of the CTT Group Ice Bucket Challenge.

"It was all down to our 3 brave directors who had no qualms in getting involved in order to raise money for a great charity - and of course the overly-eager staff all more than willing to throw endless buckets of ice cold water over them.

"I never expected it to be quite as big a success as it was; which was a nice surprise. It’s definitely these little things that are great for bringing a working community together, all in good spirits and of course for a great cause.”

Staff at the travel company reacted to this event with gusto and drenched the three directors with a total of over 20 buckets.

The current fundraising total from this challenge stands at £110 and staff are hoping for this to increase further.

Managing director, Mark Kempster, said: "I will do most things for a good cause and I am glad that we all endured the ice cold water to raise some money and a bit more awareness for Motor Neurone Disease”
