The funeral for a former Tunbridge Wells Mayor will take place this month.

Mike Rusbridge, ward councillor for Southborough North, passed away at Hospice in the Weald on Friday, May 31 after losing his battle with cancer.

His funeral service will be held at St Peter's Church in Southborough on Monday, June 22.

A book of condolence has been created and will be available at the Town Hall for signing whenever there is a meeting.

Councillor Rusbridge was elected Mayor in 2008 and served on the council for 17 years.
