Belvedere heroin and crack cocaine dealer jailed

A drug dealer caught with heroin and crack cocaine in a Tunbridge Wells bedroom has been jailed.

Paul Egbujor, 20, of Harold Avenue in Belvedere, was arrested in August after police searched a property in Cobett's Ride.

Egbujor, who has no links to Tunbridge Wells, was found inside with two mobile phones, cannabis and paraphernalia including a cannabis grinder and digital scales.

Analysis of the mobile phones revealed he had been talking with a number of drug users in the town.

Officers then found Egbujor was carrying 30 wraps of crack cocaine and £300 worth of heroin.

In court, Egbujor admitted possessing heroin and crack cocaine with intent to supply and possessing cannabis.

He was jailed for 21 months at Maidstone Crown Court on Friday, February 9.

Sgt Andy Miller, from Kent Police, said: "Egbujor travelled from London to Tunbridge Wells with the sole intention of making money out of drug users, exploiting their vulnerabilities for his own gain.

"We took proactive action to bring this man to justice and will continue to target those who believe are supplying illegal substances.

"I would encourage anyone who is suspicious of drug dealing in their neighbourhood to report it to us on 101 so that we can take enforcement action."
