Lorry driver bailed after 13-vehicle pile-up in Southborough, near Tunbridge Wells

A lorry driver arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving after a 13 vehicle crash in Southborough has been bailed.

The 33-year-old man was arrested following yesterday's pile up which saw more than a dozen vehicles collide on London Road, close to the junction with Holden Park Road at 3.30pm.

He has been bailed until July 4.

Three people were taken to hospital following the accident but no-one suffered life-threatening injuries.

The clear-up operation meant London Road remained closed for much of yesterday evening.

Police are appealing for information about the crash.
