Man charged over sex attack on teenage girl in Tunbridge Wells park

Detectives investigating allegations of rape in a Tunbridge Wells park have charged a man.

Mushiur Rahman, of The Pantiles, Tunbridge Wells, has been charged with three offences: one count of attempted rape and two counts of sexual assault.

It follows a report a teenage girl was sexually assaulted close to Wellington Rocks on Tunbridge Wells Common at 5.15pm on Monday.

The 35-year-old has been remanded in custody.

He is due to appear before Medway magistrates tomorrow.
