Appeal after serious assault outside the Sussex Arms, in the Pantiles, Tunbridge Wells

A man was punched to the ground before being kicked and stamped on during a fight outside a town centre pub.

The victim suffered leg, head and facial injuries as a result of the brutal attack in up-market the Pantiles.

The incident happened outside the Sussex Arms, Sussex Mews, shortly before midnight on Saturday 24 June, but details have only just emerged.

Kent Police is now appealing for information, with detectives saying one of the suspects may be known to the victim.

One of the men had short blonde hair, was tall and was wearing a red jumper. The second man had short dark hair and was wearing a white t-shirt with a graphic logo and jeans.
