Man struck in face at Tunbridge Wells nightclub

Police are investigating after a man was hit on the dance floor of a nightclub and suffered serious injuries to his face.

The victim reported being attacked at the Pitcher and Piano in Church Road, Tunbridge Wells, during the early hours of Sunday.

An altercation is believed to have taken place after the victim was walking through a dance floor on the lower floor, at around 12.05am and bumped into another man.

The victim is believed to have been punched and sustained a number of facial injuries. Police attended the scene and he was taken to hospital.

The suspect is described as being white and around 6ft 2ins and was wearing a white T-shirt.
