Pensioner treated by paramedics after crashing car into house

Firefighters were called out after a pensioner crashed a car into the side of a house.

Kent Fire and Rescue Service was called to Hasletts Close, Tunbridge Wells, at 11.33am and two fire engines were quickly on the scene.

Crews found a car had crashed into the side of a property and the elderly driver had managed to get out of the vehicle by the time firefighters arrived.

Fire crews administered first aid and checked the garage and porch for structural damage.

The man was then handed into the care of South East Coast Ambulance Service.
