Tunbridge Wells: Cocaine found in car as police launch drug supply network investigation

Police have launched an investigation into a drug supply network after finding suspected cocaine in a car.

Officers on patrol approached a parked car in Upper Grosvenor Road, Tunbridge Wells, at 3.30pm on Monday, June 4, where they saw a suspected bag of cocaine underneath a car seat.

After searching the vehicle, they discovered two more bags underneath the gear stick.

The driver, an unnamed 30 year-old local man, has been arrested on suspicion of possessing drugs, driving without insurance and disqualified driving.

Following their findings, police have since searched a Tunbridge Wells address where they discovered more Class A drugs and seized a mobile phone.

The man has been released while the investigation continues.
