Renewed appeal in Fiona Fisher murder investigation

Investigators are renewing their appeal for information about the murder of Crowborough woman who worked in Tunbridge Wells.

Fiona Fisher was found dead at her home in Lordswell Lane at 7.20pm on Friday, April 27 when officers attended the property after her family and friends couldn't get hold of her.

The 51-year-old died from a single stab wound to the chest.

Thomas Fisher, her son, has been charged with her murder.

He has also been charged with fraud, driving while disqualified and driving without insurance.

The 22-year-old appeared at Hove Crown Court via video link on Tuesday, May 1 and will next appear on July 17.

Senior investigating officer, Mike Ashcroft said: "Our thoughts at this time are with those who knew Fiona Fisher.

"We are still investigating the circumstances and anyone who has any information which might be able to help are asked to make contact with us."
