St John's Road, Tunbridge Wells closed both ways after crash

A road was been shut in both directions in Tunbridge Wells after a crash.

Police, fire and ambulance crews attended the scene on the A26 St John's Road after the accident involving three cars between Queen's Road and Culverden Down.

Police were called just before 5pm, and a man trapped in one of the vehicles was freed by fire crews who used hydraulic cutting equipment to remove the roof of the car to release him. The injured man was taken to hospital.
