Tunbridge Wells hosts film premiere

A film made by students at Tunbridge Wells Grammar School is to get its first public screening at the Trinity Theatre this month.

“Hit the Dandelion” was made by Mishaal Memon, Jon Bourne and Taran Knight as part of their extended project qualification for school.

The short movie tells the story of a depressed young man, whose life begins to spiral into strange new places after a chance encounter with a mysterious girl.

Mishall directed, Taran wrote the script and Jon edited the movie.

The film stars Tom Scrivener, Juliette Finn and Liam Roy.

The film’s premiere is at the Trinity Theatre in Tunbridge Wells on Thursday, February 23, between 4.15pm and 5.30pm.

The film itself is about 25 minutes long and there will be a Q&A session with cast and crew after.
