Teenager arrested after bus crash

A 14-YEAR-OLD girl was arrested after a stolen bus crashed at a roundabout.

The girl was with a 31-year-old man from Tunbridge Wells and another from Camber, East Sussex.

They were all arrested at the scene of the scene of the crash, early on Sunday morning, at Pelham Place roundabout, Hastings. The bus was allegedly taken from New Romney.

The girl, who also comes from Camber, and cannot be named, has been charged with aggravated vehicle taking and bailed.

The two men were both charged with two counts of aggravated vehicle taking and one of robbery. They were remanded in custody.

Sussex Police confirmed all three are due to appear at Lewes Crown Court on Monday, October 15.
