Tractor theft from Ryarsh property in Roughetts Road, started police appeal

The theft of a tractor from a property in Kent has sparked a police appeal for information.

A red and grey vintage Massey Ferguson 135 with a mower attachment mounted at the back is believed to have been stolen from outside a property in Roughetts Road, Ryarsh.

A witness reported seeing a tractor being driven erratically on Stangate Road, between Birling and Harvel at around 11am on the same day.

It is also believed to have been accompanied by a white/light beige Ford Transit van.

Kent Police believe the tractor was stolen between 8.45am and 6.45pm on Monday, August 18 and are appealing for anyone with information to come forward.

The driver of the tractor is described as being a white man aged 18-19, with short spiky fair hair and a "long" face. He was wearing blue overalls at the time.

The driver of the van is described as being a white man with mousey receding hair and a "chubby" face.
