Firefighters called to lorry fire on Morley Road, Tonbridge

A transporter lorry and two vans have been destroyed by a fire in Tonbridge.

Firefighters were called just before 1.30am this morning and used breathing apparatus to tackle the blaze.

Two fire engines attended the scene where a transporter lorry and its cargo of two vans had caught alight.

They managed to prevent the fire from spreading to other vehicles and a property nearby.

The cause of the fire is not known and it was extinguished at about 2am.

No one is believed to have been injured in the incident.
