Hospice in the Weald sells decorative horses at auction after being exhibited at Royal Victoria Place, Tunbridge Wells

By Ellis Stephenson

Have you ever wondered what you could do with a life-size decorative horse?

The creatures, which have all been uniquely designed in a project created by the Hospice in the Weald, measure in at around six feet high.

The 24 fancy steers are on display at the Royal Victoria Place shopping centre in Tunbridge Wells until next week.

Although live bidding starts on the charity's website next week, some bids are already coming in, pushing the asking price to more than £3,000.

At the moment for £1,400 you would be able to get your hands on 'Pembury Lass' which is designed as a giant map.

Another one is 'Rockin' Horse' which is currently listed for £3,100 and has been coated in pictures of musicians from the past. Among the famous faces are Amy Winehouse and Elvis Presley.

Did you know that you can even get your hands on a horse that has wings? 'Gaudior' is listed for £3,600 at the moment and is white with wings that span two and a half meters.
