Woman taken to Tunbridge Wells Hospital after Porsche and Mercedes collide in Penshurst Road, Tunbridge Wells

A woman in her 60s had to be cut free from a car following a two-car crash in Tunbridge Wells this morning.

The accident, which involved a Porsche and a Mercedes, happened in Penshurst Road at about 9.30am this morning.

Kent Fire and Rescue Service sent two fire engines to the scene and had to cut the roof of the vehicle, which ended up in a grass verge.

The woman was then treated at the scene by the South East Coast Ambulance and taken to Tunbridge Wells Hospital with neck and back pain.

Fire crews left the scene at 10.40am.
