Joshua Mileham had only been diagnosed with epilepsy before he was found unconscious in the bathtub by his grandfather on May 31.

The 14-year-old, who lived with his grandparents, was given CPR at their home in Edenbridge and later died at the East Surrey Hospital in Redhill.

Following a fishing trip with a friend, Two Bridges School pupil Joshua returned home at around 8.45pm with a kebab and chips, which had been left as he took a bath.

His grandfather had to unlock the door from the outside and pulled him out before laying him on the floor.

Coroner Roger Hatch recorded a conclusion of misadventure during an inquest held at Archbishops Palace in Maidstone.
