There's been an accident involving two cars this morning on a busy road.

Police are on the scene of the crash on the A228 Whetsted Road in Beltring.

Firefighters were also called due to a spillage from one of the vehicles.

There are not thought to be any serious injuries.

Traffic is reportedly coping well, but motorists should approach the area with caution.
