Police called to Marden station over concerns for man's welfare

A large number of police officers were called to a small village this evening over concerns for a man's welfare.

Eyewitnesses say at least six vehicles and about eight officers were at the village railway station, and response cars were patrolling the village.

Officers were initially called to the station but could not find the man, so carried out a search of the village and the surrounding area.
