Lamberhurst: Pensioner treated by paramedics after A21 crash

A woman aged in her 70s had to be freed from her car and treated by paramedics following a crash involving a car and a lorry.

The collision happened around 3.15pm on the A21, at the junction with Cuckoo Lane, Lamberhurst.

Two fire engines have been sent to the scene, where firefighters are assisting police and paramedics.

It's not yet known if anyone has been injured.

The road is partially blocked, and motorists are warned to expect delays.

A spokesman for Kent Police said: "We were called at 3.11pm to reports of a collision involving a car and lorry on the A21 at Lamberhurst.

"A woman in her 70s is being treated by SECAMB for injuries. There is a road closure in place at Cuckoo Lane."
