Crash on A21 at Lamberhurst

The A21 has reopened following a crash which caused long delays.

The collision happened on the London-bound carriageway, between Lamberhurst Quarter and Lamberhurst near Cuckoo Lane, at 10.45am.

Two cars were involved and police, paramedics and two fire crews were called to the scene.

A woman aged in her 70s was taken to Tunbridge Wells Hospital suffering from chest pain.

There were road closures near Kippings Cross roundabout and congestion was reported back to Pembury. The road had re-opened and queues cleared by 1.30pm.
