Motorcyclist suffers serious injury in Lamberhurst crash

Police are appealing for witnesses after a motorcyclist suffered serious injuries and was airlifted to hospital following a crash.

Officers were called at 7.52am on Saturday after the crash on the A262, close to the junction for the Forstal Farm Businesses Estate.

The rider of the motorcycle, a 60-year-old man, was taken by air ambulance to a London hospital. His injuries were described as serious, but not believed to be life-threatening.

Officers investigating the collision are keen to speak to a number of other motorists who were at the scene and who may have information but have not yet been in touch.
