Cranbrook: Jogger bitten by dog near Blue Barn Farm

A jogger has been bitten by a dog in Cranbrook.

The 56-year-old woman was running on a footpath off of Blue Barn Farm, Cranbrook between 10am and 11am yesterday when she saw a woman with five or six dogs walking in the opposite direction.

The dogs were not on leads and approached the woman, who stopped jogging. One of them bit her on the calf, causing bruising and bleeding to her leg.

The dog walker was between 60 and 80 years old and used a walking stick.
