Officers have also now left the scene of the derelict Valedene Industrial Park, six miles from Mr Blackman's home in another part of Headcorn Road, where they have been carrying out a search since Thursday morning.

Around 10 police vehicles blocked the entrance and officers were seen taking and bagging items from the site.

A police presence at the crime scene in Biddenden will remain throughout the weekend.
