Crown court trial for man accused of postman robbery

A man accused of robbery has been remanded in custody following an appearance in court.

Oluwakemi Adesaogun, 41, of Antelope Road, Woolwich appeared at Maidstone Magistrates Court on Tuesday, where he admitted to a charge of possession of articles for use in fraud.

He has been remanded in custody and will appear at Canterbury Crown Court at a later date to face a charge of robbery.

Mr Adesaogun was arrested on Monday as part of a police investigation into an alleged robbery.

On Thursday, September 21, a postman was allegedly robbed of letters in Smarden Road, Headcorn.

No date has been set for the trial.
