Staplehurst: Balaclava-clad burglars raid Coral Bookmakers in The Parade

Police are hunting balaclava-clad thugs who burgled a betting shop in Staplehurst.

Three men broke into Coral Bookmakers in The Parade on Saturday night.

They used a crowbar to steal a safe which had cash inside.

Officers investigating this incident have since recovered the empty safe and are appealing for witnesses who may have knowledge of the offenders.

The suspects are of medium build and were all wearing balaclavas over their heads and what appeared to be dark coloured tracksuit bottoms. One is described as white.

Two men have been described as both wearing anoraks with dark coloured hooded tops and the third man has been described as wearing a green hooded top.

They are believed to have left the shop via the back of the premise and used a vehicle to drive away.
