Roy Blackman 'murder': Two arrested over brutal death of Biddenden pensioner

Two men have been arrested on suspicion of murder after a pensioner was bludgeoned to death in his home last week.

The suspects, both aged 36, remain in custody after police swooped on land off Tenterden Road, Golford, in the early hours of this morning.

The raid in the tiny village, near Cranbrook, follows the brutal killing of 73-year-old Roy Blackman who was found dead in his Headcorn Road bungalow, near Biddenden, last Monday morning.
