Cranbrook: Woman cut free from car following crash in Tenterden Road

A woman has been taken to hospital following a crash involving two vehicles on a busy road in Cranbrook.

Emergency services were called to Tenterden Road shortly before 4.20pm yesterday.

When they arrived they found a woman in one of the cars had been trapped by her injuries.

Firefighters used hydraulic cutting equipment to remove the roof and free the woman.

Crews worked alongside paramedics to assess her condition before placing her on a spinal board and transferring her to an ambulance.

She remains in hospital.

The road was closed for an hour while the cars were recovered.
