Staplehurst: Woman hit by car in Station Road

A woman was treated by paramedics after being hit by a car on a busy street.

Police were called to the accident on the High Street in Staplehurst at the junction with Headcorn Road.

A spokesman said: “Kent Police was called at 7.28am regarding a collision involving a car and a pedestrian in Station Road, Staplehurst.

Emergency services were called to the scene.

“Police officers and South East Coast Ambulance Service are currently at the scene where the woman is receiving treatment for her injuries.”
