Talk Health, Be Active

Park Club Chatham is launching a new project called 'Talk Health, Be Active'. Funded by the BIG Lottery, this free project supports inactive residents to increase physical activity and improve health.
Park Club Chatham, operated by charitable leisure management company Soll Leisure, is launching a new project called ‘Talk Health, Be Active’. The aim of this project is to improve the health of inactive local residents in Medway, Kent, and thanks to funding from the Big Lottery the Park Club are offering free health MOT’s, exercise sessions and weight management advice to support the local community to lead healthier lifestyles.

The project starts on October 9th and provides free 12-week courses with a view to improving participant’s health and physical activity levels. To be eligible for the project participants must be inactive (0-1 days physical activity a week) and be looking to improve their health by lowering blood pressure, BMI or risk of Diabetes etc. Participants will receive a health MOT on week 1 and 12, as well as free exercise sessions and nutritional advice to work towards improving results and sustaining a healthy, active lifestyle.
