From Tipperary to Flanders Fields

Songs, poetry, readings and drama.
Created by Kent based professional company Katapult in the centenary of the outbreak of the First World War in 1914, and performed continuously since, this show takes the audience on a journey through the experience of the conflict through songs, poetry, readings and drama. It tells the stories of some of the women who became nurses, bus drivers, factory workers or entertainers, as well as reflecting on the experience for combatants and civilians.
