Women's Stories: A day of mindful writing, yoga and meditation
A gentle blend of practices providing opportunities for deep reflection with a focus on writing from the personal narrative using a variety of writing prompts.
Women's Stories is an opportunity for women to take time to experience a gentle blend of contemplative practices as we approach the end of the year, as well as an opportunity to take some much-needed nurturing. The day will offer yoga, meditation and mindful writing - no prior experience is necessary as the offerings will be structured to be inclusive to all, irrespective of experience. Mindful Writing: Using a variety of prompts and topics, this will provide a medium through which you can explore elements of writing that come from the personal narrative. Whether you have a regular writing/journal practice, or are an aspiring or even published writer, you will be guided and supported completely. Restorative Yoga: Gentle yoga and relaxation practices to keep energy moving in a different way, bringing ease to body and mind.
