Medea Electronica

Medea Electronica is a powerful and deeply moving gig-theatre retelling of the Greek tragedy, set in 1980’s rural England.
Pecho Mama is a new theatre company. They're also a band. And they aim to create work that is raw, beautiful, challenging and boundary trampling.

One third of Pecho Mama is Sam Cox, local Tunbridge Wells musician.

Their first show Medea Electronica is a wild and imaginative retelling of the ancient Greek tragedy, set in the technological turbulence of 1980's England.

With the discovery of her husband's deceit and betrayal, Medea is driven to embark on a journey of savage revenge and destruction.

This intense drama plays out amidst the brilliant chaos of a live gig; an all original mash up of contemporary electronica and 80's inspired progressive rock.
